The mission of Wanderlust Yoga is to provide opportunities for all people to tap into their body's innate wisdom and knowledge; to identify their own truths; and to explore the infinite ways of being in this world.
Elizabeth's primary goal when teaching a class or leading a private session is to facilitate for her client a body-centered experience within a safe and neutral space. During the experience, a participant will be cued to "drop in" to his or her body (as opposed to experiencing the present with the mind), in order to gain a greater awareness of the body's wisdom.
Elizabeth's teaching and facilitation practices are based on those of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT). PRYT philosophy holds that every human is innately whole, resourceful, and capable of discovering the wisdom that their body holds, and that the true purpose of yoga is to discover and deepen the connection between mind and body.
